My blog is so new since my redesign (note that this post is really old) that I don’t have the content to fill up the categories yet. It just displays a no posts text string. I plan on working blog posts every other day to populate these categories (like, REALLY old). So, in the meantime, I wanted to have some custom text displayed on these pages while the categories are empty.
I started to use the Genesis Framework for all of my websites a while back because it is pretty much the coolest thing ever. Just place this small chunk of code in your functions.php file and change the text for your site.
WordPress By Itself
If you are just using a basic WordPress theme, you’re covered too. Just place this into your template file.
