What is Walker Walker?
After a two-year prison stint, Walker, a sociopathic cowboy, returns to the family ranch in southwestern New Mexico and immediately gets involved in a property scam. His devout sister, Lee Ann, has lived a pious, but unfulfilled life and has always protected her brother. However, Walker’s latest crime causes a crisis, forcing Lee Ann to address her ethics at work, her faltering marriage and the foundation of her faith. The story follows brother and sister as Walker becomes the catalyst for profound change in Lee Ann’s life and each travels the path they seem destined to follow.
The Project
The author, Beverly, came to me with a few photographs she wanted to use for the cover of her new book. We ended up choosing a beautiful, empty landscape of the Southwest with the sunset really bright. This leaves you with a sense of wonder, wanting to read more.
