What is the National Migrant Education Conference?
NASDME is the professional organization of state officials charged with the administrative responsibilities of using these monies effectively and productively to help all migrant children succeed in school. NASDME provides its members ongoing information about events and activities, and offers new members training, guidance and counsel. NASDME annually sponsors the National Migrant Education Conference to provide training, leadership, and networking opportunities for all persons concerned with the education of migrant children.
The Project
Melissa, owner of MGR & Associates Meeting & Event Planning hired me to refresh, revamp, and redesign the whole slew of materials that go into the yearly national conference sponsored by NASDME. This year (2013), the conference was held in Orlando, Florida. Naturally, we went with a theme to help represent the city of Orlando through images and colors.
My goal was to blow the client away from previous years’ conference materials and help create an actual brand for the conference. The previous years’ materials, in my opinion, were not professional and didn’t feel like they played well together.
Below are four of the 8 pages in the brochure. The rest of the materials followed suite. Next year, I am hoping to add an actual website specifically for the conference for more information and for people to by tickets.
